Just watched this last night. If you're into character development movies, I highly recommend it. Gwenyth Paltrow plays the famous poet and author Sylvia Plath. The movie is really about her relationship with Ted Hughes (another poet) who is played by Daniel Craig. Paltrow did a very good job, I could really see and feel the paranoia and distress she was trying to emote. Craig was also very good, although his character wasn't as delved into as Paltrow's was(which is expected given the title of the film).
Oz, you might be interested in this, seeing as you liked Frida so much, and this movie deals with another strong yet repressed woman. Her story is really very sad, and I always noticed that sort of emptiness in her poetry. If you like her as a poet, I would also recommend seeing it, they discuss a lot of her works in the movie. Definitely one of the better bio-pics I've ever seen.

I am not really a big fan of Plath's poetry, but I think her relationship with Ted Hughes was really interesting. Personally I have not even heard of this film before, I shall look out for it now.

Her relationship with him was very interesting. And the woman he left her for, Assia W...something or other. Also killed herself and her little girl a year or two after Sylvia's death. Some people think she was trying to copy Plath.
Weird stuff.
