Default Which is worse? Episode 1 or Battlefield Earth?

Just thought I'd throw this one open to the board...

I got into a heated debate last Saturday {Ok, we were all drunk} as to which is the worst movie, Battlefield Earth, or Starwars : Episode 1.

Wherease, I really, really won't watch battlefield again, my vote goes for Episode 1.

What do you all think?

And no one is allowed to mention Howard the Duck ...

I'm going to say that Battlefield Earth is the worst.

I find myself in the odd position of actually wanting to have seen Battlefield: Earth, if only so that I could say that Episode One was worse. I so loathed Episode One that I can't imagine a film I would loathe with more unflinching intensity.

Then again, I've heard many a tale of horror and woe about Battlefield: Earth; I believe that if there exists a film of such vile, seething badness that it would make me wipe Episode One from my mind for all time, Battlefield: Earth might well be it.

Oh oh oh...Dude..pm me your address and I will send you my copy of Battlefield Earth.....and when you are finished with it you can use it as a drink coaster...

that is my answer to the question.....

I bought it out of the bargin bin awhile back..thought it would be fun to watch again because it is so bad...big mistake..it is just so bad it isn't even good to watch as a joke...

I'm in the same boat as Action here. I have never seen Battlefield Earth, but can there really be a film worse than Episode One?

Both films are pretty dire. I think the 'naffness' of Ep. 1 is intensified when compared to the original trilogy..but Battlefield Earth has nothing to compare it to...it's just a really, really bad film in it's own right...

Battlefield earth isDire, but has one saving grace....

Despite all the ham fisted "acting", depite all the "script writing", and especially the terrible "directing"....

There is no Jar Jar Binks...

How Wude!
